Lambchop - Punching the Clown (2026)

LAMBCHOP NEW SHIT! god i fucking love kurt wagner and his band. "the bible" was one of my favorite albums of the year a few years ago and it felt like a culmination of everything they had ever released, like a eulogy. and just like that, they've re-re-invented themselves when i wasn't expecting them to, leaning back into their country roots with a suite of delicate choral folk. i was crying by the first lyric. "the new world wave" might be the song of the year. going to a lambchop concert is like church for me, and i can't wait to return for service on october 1st at public records!
